This site is written for patients and the people with them: someone who arrives with a lab number such as TSH, fasting glucose or HbA1c, someone living with diabetes or a thyroid condition, or someone who wants answers about hormones and metabolism.

The articles are educational and do not replace an examination. Wherever medicines come up, we say not to stop or change a thyroid pill, insulin or steroid without your doctor, and the urgent signs are written separately and clearly.
